You are a speck of dust that goes unseen
a feckless spot
that makes us
come undone
I collect you from places you have been
and call your face the surface of the sun
like Ovid's amores surrounds my heart
a tiny seed that grows inside my lung,
but at first I did not pay you heed
I shivered when we met but
you never saw me bleed
so I wandered
out
without regret
and I apologise for what I've said
I did not want to stay in bed
and now I forsake outside
I'll stay inside instead
so you'll remain
unseen and
disappear
